Hello Love: Mardi Gras Edition is a bold, joy-filled matchmaking night created for LGBTQIA+ singles on Friday, 13th February
Got a hot, hilarious, or heartbreakingly cute LGBTQIA+ friend who’s still single? Consider this your official call to action.
Join us for Hello Love: Mardi Gras edition, where you have five minutes to showcase your bestie’s most loveable qualities to a crowd of fabulous queer singles. Hosted by two incredible drag queens Dominique Topp and Kalin Klein, this is a safe, fun, and inclusive space for our community to connect. If sparks fly during your pitch, there’s plenty of time to mingle and celebrate love in all its forms afterwards.
You are also welcome to attend the event if you’re not pitching – join in the energy and cheer on the presenters.
*Please note that each ticket reserves just one spot per booking—additional attendees will need to register individually.
THE DETAILS:
When: Friday, 13th February, 7pm onwards
Where: Level 1 at Forrester’s
Tickets: Entry is free but you must reserve a spot to attend – bookings will be available soon
- Friends present a 5-minute PowerPoint about their single friend
- Brief Q&A session follows each presentation (1-2 minutes)
- Interested audience members can share their contact info
- Presentees (the single friends) can choose to follow up for dates
Present on behalf of your single friend
Must submit:
- Own contact details
- Single friend’s details
- Your presentation (via Canva, PowerPoint or Keynote)
- Include preferred pronouns and sexual preference in presentation
- Watch the presentations
- Ask questions during Q&A
- Submit your contact info to singles you’re interested in
- You can also attend if you’re not pitching – remember to reserve your free ticket.
