Forrester’s is the home of the Big Yorkie!

From the mastermind of Chef Patrick Friesen, we are serving up the BIGGEST, TASTIEST roast in Sydney.  

Just picture it… melt in your mouth roast beef, perfectly cooked veggies, golden roasted potatoes, gravy, all served in a BIG YORKSHIRE PUDDING.  

It’s no secret that the Yorkshire pudding is everyone’s favourite part of a roast so we decided to take it to a whole new level… light and crunchy on the top, soft and gooey underneath, all the best parts of a Yorkshire pudding can now be enjoyed in every bite.  

 

The idea was born after Chef Friesen cooked the dish for a friend from Scotland, who had tried a similar dish during a trip home. Friesen said “I have always loved Yorkshire puddings as a rule but to me it always feels like there’s never enough pudding to soak up the gravy. This was kind of the perfect solution to that”. 

The Big Yorkie is already making headlines, with Daily Mail saying “The Indulgent meal is set to hit the menu at Surry Hills gastropub, The Forrester’s before end of October, but it’s already winning plaudits from the Harbour City’s top chefs and food critics”.
