The Pink Test at Forrester’s Surry Hills

Forrester’s was the home of cricket for the Ashes Pink Test from Sunday 4 – Thursday 8 January.

Sports fans joined us for the 2026 Ashes Pink Test – the exciting finale of the Ashes series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Watch Australia and England battle for cricket’s greatest prize while supporting the McGrath Foundation.

Donate To The McGrath Foundation

The Pink Test is one of the most beloved moments on the Australian cricket calendar. The Sydney Cricket Ground becomes a sea of pink in celebration of Jane McGrath and we showed our support at Forrester’s from 4th – 8th January, 2026.

The Pink Test Line-Up

Gilly’s Forrester’s Take Over

Adam Gilchrist took over Forrester’s post-match on Monday, 5th January for a meet and greet while giving away El Arquero Highballs.

We also served the signature Maximo Highball throughout January. Made with El Arquero Blanco tequila, pineapple juice, soda & fresh lime with a salt rim, it’s the drink of the summer.

Burgers For A Cause

Early start for the cricket? We served up Bacon & Egg Rolls from 9am, plus every roll and burger sold from our menu sent $1 straight to the McGrath Foundation.

The Art Room Goes Pink

Guests could purchase Virtual Pink Seats in the Art Room ($20 each, going directly to the McGrath Foundation), settle in with food and drinks, and watch the Ashes unfold on the big screen.

Match Day Atmosphere

Guests enjoyed our full menu of pub classics, tap beers, and cocktails while watching the cricket live and loud across all screens.
