What are your opening hours?

We are open 7 days a week.

Monday to Wednesday | 11:30am – 11pm
Thursday | 11:30am – 12am
Friday & Saturday | 11:30am – 1am
Sunday | 11:30am – 10pm

How can I make a booking?

Head to our Make A Booking Page to book a table for up to 15 guests.
For larger groups or exclusive events, please head to our Groups & Events page to find out more and make an enquiry.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Bookings are recommended when dining with us, however we do leave a large number of seats available for walk-ins!

I can’t make it to my booking anymore, what are my options?

If you are unable to make your booking, please contact us via phone 02 8354 0742 or email book@forresters.com.au as soon as you know. If you fail to show up, numbers decrease, or you cancel without at least 24 hours notice, you will be charged a no-show fee of $10 per person.

Can I book Forrester’s for a private event?

Located in the heart of Surry Hills, Forrester’s is the perfect destination for your next social or corporate event. Our three unique spaces are available for exclusive use or group bookings throughout the working week and weekends. With flexible packages to suit any style, head to our Groups & Events page to find out more and make an enquiry. 

Do you cater for dietaries?

Yes we can cater for most special dietary requests, such as vegetarian and food allergies, however, some limitations apply. Please view our menu to see our Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. Let our team know any food allergies or dietary requirements you may have & we will endeavour to accommodate for you the best we can!

Please note that whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food will be allergen free. 

Do you have vegan and vegetarian options?

Yes we have vegan and vegetarian options on our menu. These will be marked with a (V) or (VEGAN). Some dishes will also be able to be altered to make them Vegan. Please ask our friendly staff when placing your order.

Do you offer takeaway or delivery for food?

We currently do not offer takeaway or delivery for our menu.

Do you have takeaway alcohol?

Our bottle shop operates in the Public Bar and we have a selection on beers and wines for takeaway. RSA applies.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, we have wheelchair access to the ground floor of Forrester’s.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

Yes, we love all friendly pooches and they are more than welcome to join!

How can I buy a gift card?

If you have a birthday, anniversary or engagement present to give, or you’d just like to gift something special to make someone smile – purchase a Forrester’s online gift voucher and we’ll send it directly via email to the recipient to enjoy. Click here to make a purchase.
